- COUNTRY BOUNTY - Salida, CO. This place is one of THE BEST!! Homemade better than your Momma makes it, and the pies wow!! (Notice I said YOUR Momma not MY Momma :-)!!!)

- STONEY RIVER GRILL - Steak, Steak, Steak
- IN-N-OUT Burger - CA, AZ, NV - I’ll have a Double-Double, Animal style, Fries and a Chocolate shake, Thanks!!
- OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE - I have tried every item on the menu.
- LAMBERTS - In Sikeston, Mo and Gulf Shores, Al - Home of the throwed rolls. Need I say more?
- PAPPADEAUX - Try the Cheese Fondue and the Seafood gumbo.
- PAPPASITO’S - The Shrimp Brochette and the Steak fajitas are a must.
- FIVE GUYS FAMOUS BURGERS AND FRIES - Fresh Burgers, Homemade Fries.

- CHEESE CAKE FACTORY - You’ve got to start with the Avocado Egg-rolls, then try Spicy Cashew Chicken, or Tai Chicken Pasta, or Bang Bang Chicken and Shrimp. In fact why don’t you just invite me and I will order for you!!!! (Oh and by the way they also have 50 flavors of cheese cake.)

I graduated from The Master’s College in California with a degree in Church Music, also spent a year at Northern Arizona University. Shelby graduated from California Baptist College with a degree in accounting. We were raised in Alaska. Shelby was born there, and I moved up from southern California when I was five years old. My wife and I are both in our 30’s now (how time flies) and the kids are growing everyday. They are at such fun ages right now, and we are really trying to enjoy the time we have with them. They are all VERY involved with church and sports activities (Soccer and Basketball) playing piano, singing etc.
I was going to write something really spiritual here, but everything that I came up with just sounded preachy and insincere. So, I’ll just leave you with this. Following Christ is a pursuit that takes time, energy and effort on our part. “Draw nigh to Me and I will draw nigh to you.” James 4:8.
