God has a specific plan for humanity. In the Bible we read:

Romans 3:23
"...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Romans 6:23
"The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

I John 4:10
"This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins."

I John 5:11-12
" And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life."

John 14:6
"Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'"

Romans 10:9
"...That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

2 Peter 3:9
"The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."
